About the Group
Group Focus
The group is focused on helping members get themselves noticed, and for some, advices and guidance to get better. There will be a great number of folders for all of you. The title is "WithMagic" because I, a believer of magic, think with a magical word or phrase, people will get whatever they want. What is that magical word or phrase? I wonder.
Group Rules
Anyone who is an artist or a critic may join this very group. We are a group of artists, critics, and anyone else who love the arts. We don't care about how good you are or how bad you may be at arts. We are here to help. We are here to have fun. We are here to love.
We are going to be a large community. We need discipline, of course. Respect each other, but do not treat us administrators as gods. We treat each other almost the same. We try to.
We do not appreciate trolls, spammers, hackers, scammers, and thieves. We never did. Once we have the evidence, you are therefore blocked from this group forever until you come back to us and say an apology.
Submission Rules
Please submit to the proper folders. Do not submit your artwork to "Featured." We admins decide on which artwork will go there so please refrain from submitting there. If your work is declined, please go through the folders again and submit at the right one.
If there are no folders for a specific category of art, for example "Anthro" is missing, please note the founder or the co-founders.
Group Donations

Members
Administrators
The founder and the co-founders manage and review the submissions and the violations of the group rules. We are the ones who blacklist or block violators. Founder and Co-Founders can think of a contest/event, too, duh!
The contributors decide on the events, announcements, and daily, weekly, and monthly journal submissions. They are mostly like bloggers. They should keep posting as to keep the group alive.
Half of the contributors will
also be part of the "Welcome Team" which will warmly welcome new members to the group.
Non-Administrators
Members may be critics or artists. You can submit your work to the proper folders. You can join our events and contests. You, of course, can be promoted as an administrator! How? You'll find out when we need one.
Sponsors
Anyone who donates 150
and above to the group are called "sponsors of WithMagic." These people are the ones who voluntarily donated points for the group to run contests.
Watchers
Our dear watchers can join into the group. Why stay a watcher when you can be a member? Join into the fun we are having!
Affiliates
We love our affiliates as much as we love our members! Are you a member of another group? Don't worry! No need to hate each other and join in!
Improvement Corner
Requests
Members can send a note to the admins or to the group if they think there's a missing folder they wish to submit to.
Suggestions
I'm thinking too ahead but it's for the better. We admins take suggestions! Members/Watchers can either note the group or comment their suggestions.
Donations
Admins, members, and watchers are allowed to donate to the group for us to run contests for the members. At the start of the group, donations are still on hold.
Complaints
If a member or a watcher has a complaint, they are free to note the group or the admins so we can look into the problem.
Co-Founder's Guide
Your Role
Do you wish to have a slot in the Co-Founders? You need to know your role first. You beloved future co-founders of mine are obliged to watch the group for me. Basically meaning, co-founders have almost full control. You will manage and review the submissions and watch out for the wrong submissions. Will it be an auto-accept, or you have to go through it? You will decide.
As for spammers and trolls, you may block them at third offense. Give them chances and warnings before you would block them. I will explain more of these later for you.
Events
You can partake the role of a contributor, too! You may submit journal entries weekly or monthly about a certain topic. Keep the group entertained. We will work together on that.
Contributor's Guide
Your Role
You will be some regular blogger in this group. You are going to be writing awesome stuff about things. However don't limit yourself to this. You may submit and critique artworks, too!
My Plans
Are you willing to take a job as a contributor in this group? Then, allow me to tell you my plans. At the start of the group, contributors will give the new members a warm welcome to the group and introduce them to the rules and focus of the group. Then, when things are going steady, I want a contributor or a co-founder to pick deviations and deviants to feature weekly. A contributor may also write about what they can say about the featured deviants and deviations. Next, I want contributors to be as friendly and creative as possible! They need to think of topics that they can go on and on for a week without boring people out. They can educate, inform, entertain, etc. You decide!
Having Doubts
You have written a topic already but think your topic might not be appropriate? Talk to me or one of the co-founders about it. I, the founder and the co-founders will find a way to help you.
A Few Tips
Here are some ways to effectively be a good blogger when I am not myself.
Look for ways on how to be creative. (It sometimes involve
your health!)
Look for ways on how to avoid artist/writer's block. (It can be really annoying not to be able to think of anything!)
For the above, the group
projecteducate helps a lot!
Live your life to the fullest. Sometimes, worrying a lot about something won't help at all.
Lurk on DeviantART away from the group and other sites for a while. I don't know but it will help.
Read books. Don't watch TV. No, no, no.
Listen to music. It can help.
